Hold On a Little Longer

“Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world..” (Revelation 3:10)

Announcements:

  • I’ll be speaking with Fr. Chris Alar at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy (in Stockbridge, MA) this Saturday, December 9th, at 11:00am, on the Divine Will. All are welcome to come by and join us in person (in the Chapel) or watch online: https://www.youtube.com/@DivineMercy_Official
  • The paperback of my latest book, Only Man Bears His Image, (October 2023) had been out of stock for a while last month. It is now available again, however: https://www.amazon.com/Only-Man-Bears-His-Image/dp/1957168064 I’m working to get it available at other bookstores as well. I’ll post updates here at DSDOConnor.com– please subscribe with your email address (on the right hand sidebar) to be kept in the loop! I believe this is an extremely important book in combatting diabolical ET/UFO deceptions that are now infiltrating the Church to an apocalyptic degree; even at the hands of supposedly “orthodox minded” theologians. Please read and promote it! (Note: it’s a huge book—but you don’t have to read it cover to cover. It has a very detailed Table of Contents that you can use to quickly and directly have your own questions addressed)
  • I’ve done two webcasts recently with Mark Mallett: “Why Still Be Catholic?” and “Chaos Into the Storm
  • I was honored to again join Doug Barry and Fr. Heilman at the U.S. Grace Force Podcast: https://youtu.be/PERov8pvPSA?feature=shared

Perhaps perseverance is the most underrated virtue. For when we look at how direly the whole world, our own individual lives–and everything in between–needs radical change, we tend to think immediately and only about solutions to fix the problems we observe. And indeed, there is much we must do to work towards solutions!

Yet many crosses are not supposed to be “fixed”– in the short term. They are simply to be shouldered—for a period of time known to God; a time during which we build up great treasures in Heaven through suffering in His Will.

“Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world..” (Revelation 3:10)

When we only think of how to fix the problems, we tend to forget the value of preserving the good that is present. We tend to forget the extreme value of perseverance

Why do I share this simple and brief exhortation now?

Because I am concerned that many are simply giving up.

More and more scandals rock the Church. Apostolates that many Catholics once thought trustworthy and even exemplary are torn apart by discord, fraud, and hypocrisy. Priests, pundits, founders of Catholic groups, etc., drop like flies to accusations of deceitful and even degenerate behavior. Theologians you thought you could trust begin promoting heresy, diabolical deceptions, or schism. (As I warned in my webcast with Mark Mallett several weeks ago, everyone will fail you. Everyone but Jesus Christ. So remain close to Him.)

The results of all this we too often observe? Despondency. Despair. The faithful giving up.

And these are just the happenings that make the Catholic news. What is more significant still is the steady descent many are witnessing in the Church around them and even in their own families.

Let me share a personal story.

This week I learned that there will be yet another reduction of Masses in my area. Starting next month, the entire downtown of the City of Albany—an area encompassing tens of thousands of people, the Capitol and entire seat of government of New York State, many (perhaps even dozens) of Catholic Churches (almost all now shuttered), many businesses, skyscrapers, thousands of daily employees, etc.—will not have a single morning daily Mass. The Cathedral itself will no longer have any daily Masses. (There will be one noon Mass a day at one Church in the entire downtown.)

But this is just the latest step of a long descent. When I lived here in this same spot a mere 9 years ago, I was within seven miles of about twenty evening daily Masses a week. Today, there is not a single evening daily Mass within that radius. Within that same radius 9 years ago, there were many Saturday daily Masses (so important to honor Our Lady). Today there is one. Then, there were dozens of 6:30am and 7:00am daily Masses so that students and working people could make it to Mass daily—today, there are only several.

Some of this, of course, is the inevitable result of priests aging, dying, and retiring. But the decrease of Masses is not commensurate with the decrease of priests. The removal of Masses has far outpaced the loss of priests.

Equally lamentable is that this drastic decrease in available Masses has not been joined by any noticeable increase in attendance at the Masses that remain.

The corollary to these observed facts is obvious. Daily Mass, of course, is not mandatory, but what we are witnessing is still evidence of a deeply distressing trend: Many Catholics–priests and laity alike–are simply giving up on their former practices. They are abandoning their former zeal. The Covid lockdowns gave many priests and laity a taste of “not needing” to continue to faithfully undertake their pious practices, and too many found that taste–which should have been nauseating–to be delightful.

“And because wickedness is multiplied, most men’s love will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12)

“But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember then from what you have fallen, repent and do the works you did at first.” (Revelation 2:4-5)

But this observation about daily Mass where I live is only one way we can see the effects of the same phenomenon.

As Our Lord prophesied in the verse above from Matthew, the great sinfulness of the end times will mean that “most men’s love will grow cold.” Perhaps this is seen most clearly in the greatest of human loves: that of husband and wife. If there were ever to be a sign that the prophesied times of “love growing cold” is upon us, it would be precisely in marriages failing. And, lately, I have seen so many marriages either destroyed or at least on the brink; pious, seemingly solid Catholic marriages that an outside observer never would have dreamed would even be at risk.

I beseech all spouses who are tempted to sin against what they recited on the altar to pray, with David, “My vows to the Lord I will fulfill before all his people.” (Psalm 116) Pray with your spouse–every day. Love your spouse… more than your own life, your own desires, your own plans, your own “needs,” and your own ideas about your spouse.

We must not number among those whose love has grown cold.

Let us take seriously the most cliché, but entirely valid, pious advice one hears: “Live as if you will die tomorrow.” Advent is certainly the appropriate time to ponder that. Assume that you will die tomorrow.

  • Do you want to die one day after deciding you just don’t have time for Mass, or the daily Rosary, any longer?
  • Do you want to die one day after deciding you just can’t stay with your spouse any longer?
  • Do you want to die one day after toying with or even accepting the idea that what you’ve always known is true–that the Catholic Church really is the one and only Church established by Jesus Christ, to which all are called–might not be true?
  • Do you want to die one day after deciding (maybe because of the lies coming from certain men in the Vatican these days) that you need not heed Church teaching on sexual morality; teachings you can easily find, and are absolutely settled and unchangeable, in your Catechism
  • Do you want to die one day after deciding it’s just too difficult to raise your children in a truly Catholic way that is leading them to sanctity–to Heaven?
  • Do you want to die one day after deciding that forgiveness and charity are just too difficult, and that vengeance feels much better?
  • Do you want to die one day after deciding that all those things you once stayed away from—because you were piously convinced they were vain, worldly, occasions of sin, or compromises with evil—are actually too alluring to avoid any longer (or that they “must be okay” because this or that friend or relative is accepting them?)?
  • In a word: do you want to die one day after capitulating to temptations to neglect anything God has clearly shown to you individually to be His Will for you, or after capitulating to the temptation to neglect anything God has revealed broadly (e.g.,through Scripture & Magisterium) to be His Will for all?

No, you don’t.

So, hold on a little longer. Suffer a little longer. The Vindication will come soon. I promise you that.

You have no idea how many treasures you are building up in Heaven just by holding on.

Keep holding on.

Come, Lord Jesus!

BOOK RELEASED TODAY: Only Man Bears His Image

The book is published!

After almost three years of an unbelievably large amount of research, analysis, and writing, Only Man Bears His Image is now available. Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKNGMC43

As noted in my last post, I chose today as the publication day in honor of the Feast of Our Lady of Victory (Our Lady of the Rosary), seeking out her intercession to crush the infiltration of Paganism into the Church just as her miraculous aid likewise crushed an Islamic invasion into Europe at the Battle of Lepanto. What I did not know was that today would also be the start of yet another Seal of Revelation creaking open. As anyone who has checked the news today has seen, Israel itself is now at war. When “wars and rumors of wars” (Matthew 24) embroil the very same place Our Lord issued that prophecy of the end times 2,000 years ago, this should remind us to stand alert and be on guard for other prophecies about those same times also being fulfilled.

Today’s headlines: (Let us pray, pray, pray for all those affected)

Of paramount importance in what we know to expect for such apocalyptic times is the Great Deception. And I really do believe—and I think those who read this book will find themselves in agreement—that the ET and AI Deceptions are heralding The Great Deception itself; the “lying signs and wonders” of the Antichrist. Little is so urgent as being on guard against it.

I believe this book is by far the most comprehensive Catholic treatment of the general “NHI” question (aliens, sentient AI, etc.) ever published. Every detail of every angle the issue (especially the extraterrestrial one) can possibly be approached from—Scripture, Magisterium, Tradition, science, prophecy, history, private revelation, culture, discernment, eschatology, related “NHI” Deceptions (especially AI), and more—are all rigorously analyzed. The conclusion each line of reasoning presents is unambiguous. Therefore, those who read this book will find themselves rid of any temptation to believe that aliens are among us.

Accordingly, this is a massive book (756 very intense pages). But please do not let its size or scope intimidate you. You do not need to read it cover to cover. There is a very detailed Table of Contents towards the beginning, so you can easily use this as a reference work to address individual questions as they arise. I also wrote its chapters to, as much as possible, stand coherently on their own, so you can focus on whatever individual themes you are interested in without needing to read loads of adjacent material.

Alas, the large size was necessary. This brewing ET (and AI) Deception is so diabolical, so pervasive, so (largely) unaddressed by Catholic authors, and (most troublingly) so promoted by other Catholic authors, that I knew I had to leave no stone unturned.

Indeed, almost all of the biggest, most powerful, richest, and most popular names in both the secular and Catholic media world are pushing the “aliens are walking among us” and “Christianity is completely fine with aliens” narrative. Let’s consider just one Catholic alien promoter, Dr. Paul Thigpen. (No offense against the man personally; he seems like a great guy. Unfortunately, however, he’s greatly misled on this issue and is greatly misleading others.) Dr. Thigpen’s 2022 book promoting Catholic alien belief has become extremely popular, and since its publication he has promoted its thesis on: EWTN’s nationwide morning radio show (huge audience), Matt Fradd’s Pints with Aquinas (400k subscribers), Cameron Berteluzzi’s YouTube channel (200k subscribers), Michael Lofton’s YouTube Channel (50k subscribers), Church Militant (300k subscribers), Crisis Magazine, Relevant Radio, TAN’s channel, and who knows how many other appearances (those are just the few I’ve noticed.)

His message has reached untold millions. And his message is wrong—dead wrong—not to mention exceedingly spiritually dangerous (my book refutes each of its arguments). But he is just one of a whole slew of Catholics arguing similarly. Almost the whole “professional Catholic” world is against me on this point, and the whole secular world certainly is. Suffice it to say, I am not looking forward to the rage I know full well this book will elicit against me. (Major credit, however, is deserved by those Catholics who have likewise spoken against the ET Deception and/or had me on, over the past couple years, to speak against it: John-Henry Westen, Fr. Dan Reehil, Jesse Romero, Michael Hichborn, Hugh Owen, Mother & Refuge Channel [Ron & Debbie], Avoiding Babylon [Anthony & Rob], Taylor Marshall, and others! Also, here’s a shout out to Robert Duncan at the Catholic News Service, who had the courage to diverge from the approach of almost all other mainstream Catholic media reporting on aliens, and gave my side a place in his article on the topic.)

I can already see the spittle-flecked denunciations certain theologians will react to this book’s publication with. “How dare this fool, this nobody, this layman, this mere community college adjunct, contradict me and my cleric friends in the Vatican with our many doctorates in sacred theology! If we believe aliens are fine with the Faith and that ‘extraterrestrial brothers’ are here to save us, no Catholics are allowed to disagree with us!” Yes, they will fume—if not always publicly themselves, at least by way of directing their obedient minions to come up with new slanders to hurl against me. I trust, however, that the more these men attack me, the more people will realize that they are vicious wolves acting in desperation because they realize their arguments have been refuted.

“Their hatred of me is proof that I speak the truth” —Socrates

The point of all this is simple: I need your help to get this book out there.

Right now it’s Gideon’s army of 300 vs. Midian’s army of hundreds of thousands when it comes to us warning against the Great Deception vs. those who are welcoming it with a smile.

But we know who won that battle.

I could also use your help in trying to get this message out to the very big audiences. I believe the argument against the notion that aliens are walking among us is rock solid—bulletproof—and I believe that if only more people could hear it, they could be protected against the diabolical agenda now in the works.

I believe the formal announcement of The Great Deception—the ET/UFO “Day of Disclosure”—could be very soon. We might not have years to slowly but surely trickle out this refutation of it to millions of people. (This is not to mention that rejecting aliens will, once that “Disclosure” happens, likely be deemed “misinformation” and censored just like they censored the truth during Covid tyranny.) So I believe it’s very important that this message gets out to a large group of people… FAST.

So, forgive me if this is overly ambitious, but one very helpful thing you could do, if you feel so inclined, is reach out to your favorite one-million-plus-subscribers podcasters and encourage them to have me on their shows to talk about the topic. Michael Knowles, Raymond Arroyo, Babylon Bee… podcasters/show hosts of that caliber. They’ll much prefer to hear from their listeners than from some guy inviting himself onto their show. So, consider asking your favorite major podcasters, national TV show hosts, national radio hosts, etc., to invite me on. This perhaps doesn’t need to happen immediately (soon I’ll be making a short video, on my YouTube Channel, giving an overview of the book. Large podcasters might be more inclined to have me on once they can see that and get an idea of the book before reaching out to me).

Fighting the Pagan Onslaughts

Announcements on the release date of my book (Only Man Bears His Image), the ET Deception, the Month of October, and more.

(Image: One of the draft run/ proof copies of my upcoming book, Only Man Bears His Image—don’t worry, it won’t have the ugly “Not for Resale” band on it when it is published!)

Update: The book is now available! It can be purchased here: https://www.amazon.com/Only-Man-Bears-His-Image/dp/1957168064

Dear Friends,

I apologize for the long delay in posting! I have, as I am sure you guessed, been devoting all of my free time to finalizing the book. Thanks be to God, it is now done! I know I have long announced it would be released by September. But as I am about to embark upon some travels to speak at an international conference, I don’t want to release the book while I’m out of the country, lest this make me unable to address any pressing issues that might arise while I’m out of reach.

So please accept my apologies, but the actual release will be just slightly delayed beyond what I had announced. The book will be published on the Feast of Our Lady of Victory (AKA Our Lady of the Rosary)—October 7th.

I will put up another post here (which will also go out as an email to subscribers) with a link to it once it becomes available. Although it will indeed be published that day, sometimes it isn’t possible to actually purchase it until later that same day or even the next day. Stay tuned!

I can think of no better Feast Day on which to publish the book, either. I pray that as Our Lady’s intercession, on that very day 452 years ago, prevented the infiltration of Pagan (Muslim) invaders from conquering Europe, so too her intercession will today prevent the onslaught of the pagan, Antichristic Extraterrestrial Deception from further infiltrating the Church. And I pray that my book will also help in that task, despite the unworthiness of its author.

While that victory at Lepanto (which this Feast Day celebrates) was indeed Our Lady’s, it was not won without the zealous efforts of heroic Christian soldiers. Today, too, we must not be quietists (that is, heretically apathetic) in light of diabolical onslaughts against Scripture and Sacred Tradition, pretending that our only job is to uncritically accept whatever some man wearing a red hat in the Vatican says. No, our job is to fight for the truth; to fight for the True Magisterium; no matter how lofty a man dares to contradict it (for everyone–including such men–will stand before the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ). Just as the Battle of Lepanto had its Don Juan (no, not the fictional womanizer–the REAL Don Juan of Austria; hero of Lepanto), we need an army of soldiers for Christ today on fire for His absolute supremacy, crying out with all their hearts–drowning out the demonic, pagan babble that surrounds them–LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!!

I know you have all been hearing many claims from supposedly “orthodox Catholic” voices—and are now hearing many more—that aliens are now walking among us, and that this is fine and dandy with the Faith. (Perhaps reiterating the lie that Padre Pio or John Paul II endorsed aliens—they did NOT—and this book also contains a deep dive into exposing those false claims.) I have long pointed out that this will happen. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth than their assertions, and I assure you that this book does indeed fully refute each and every one of the arguments of the Catholic alien promoters. In fact, there are no aliens. We can conclude this, with certainty, from Scripture, Magisterium, Sacred Tradition, and even science. There are, however, many demonic illusions presenting themselves as aliens, UFOs, etc.

If indeed the Alien/UFO Deception is part and parcel to The Great Deception itself (and I believe this book will convince you that it is), then it could be no other way. That Great Deception will, we know, deceive many of “the elect.” But “the elect” does not refer to nominal Catholics; it refers to full-blown Catholics—”orthodox” and (seemingly) holy pewsitters, theologians, priests, Bishops, authors, apologists, etc. Many of them will succumb. This is prophesied in both Public and private revelation, so do not be surprised when precisely that happens. Most importantly, do not let yourself be tempted to likewise succumb merely because others whom you (and I!) have made the mistake of trusting and promoting in the past themselves succumb. I know what you’re thinking now: “But what about _____?” And I assure you that, no matter what goes in that ____ for you, this book will address it.

As you will see in Part Four of the book, a number of Catholic priest/ theologian/ exorcist/ authentic-private-revelation-promoters have already, in recent decades, succumbed to preaching blatant doctrines of demons as they have dropped, like flies, in capitulation to the ET/UFO Deception (always, of course, laced with assurances that this is NOT what they are doing; as they all shout “the Devil isn’t behind every rock! Don’t be a fundamentalist! I know what I’m talking about! Look at how learned I am!”) That same trend will continue, so do not be shocked when it does. Stay the course. Jesus will never fail you—and He infallibly speaks through Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and Magisterium. But men you thought you could trust will indeed fail you.

It was precisely because I anticipated what is now transpiring before our eyes that I warned, over two years ago:

and that I warned, last year:

So do not believe what a man says on account of his own credentials and degrees supposedly justifying the orthodoxy or validity of the claim (or on account of his demeaning the “inferior” credentials of others who say the opposite). Certainly, do not believe anything I say merely because I say it. I am a nothing and a no one. A knucklehead. A miserable and unworthy sinner. Instead, believe what I say only if I have presented an argument for it that demonstrates it is true.

I have called this post “Fighting the Pagan Onslaughts.” Unfortunately, the ET Deception is not the only pagan onslaught now seeking to infiltrate the Church.

We are now about to enter the Vatican phase of the “Synod of Synodality.” I have already commented extensively on that, so I will not do so again at length here, other than to note that it is showing every sign of precipitating the Great Apostasy itself. It will begin on October 4th (next Wednesday), and proceed for one year to its culmination in October 2024. Prophecy aside, this is sure to be an extraordinary year for what matters most in this world: the Faith.

And this is not to mention all the Signs of the Times in the world suggesting an imminent apocalyptic convergence: Central Bank Digital Currencies (heralding the Mark of the Beast), World War III continuing to appear likely, the elite brewing the next assault on our freedom (perhaps Zero Carbon Tyranny or some “woke” agenda), financial and economic collapse appearing certain, Islam infiltrating Europe, and on the list goes. (And, of course, the ET Deception promises to soon serve as the Synthesis of All Apostasies, heralding none other than the Antichrist himself.)

The status quo cannot and will not hold for long.

I know that some are quite worried about next month due to messages given by a few alleged seers. Personally, I have not had time to engage in a sufficiently rigorous discernment of these seers to arrive at a great degree of confidence in their authenticity. So I file this all in my “worthy of consideration” category. Let us indeed be spiritually prepared, in case October does indeed wind up being a major turning point in the Purification. Repent of your sins! Get to confession! Strive to Live in the Divine Will as never before! Pray, pray, pray!

But let us also not assume anything. I certainly am not doing this. If Heaven really wanted all the devout to go about canceling all their plans for some given month, it would have no trouble making that call superabundantly clear. As far as I can tell, it has not done so. Not even the most recent Medjugorje message gave any indication of that (though it did warn against “Modernism wanting to enter”—a clear warning to be on guard against heresies coming from the Vatican during this Synod. Beware, therefore, anyone who says you can trust something merely because it comes out of the Vatican. We can indeed trust the True Magisterium–e.g., formal acts of Papal Magisterium such as Encyclicals, Ecumenical Councils, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, etc. But we cannot necessarily trust the opinions of Bishops and Cardinals working in the Vatican–or even Popes. At this point it should be obvious to anyone with a brain that Pope Francis has voiced a number of deeply erroneous personal opinions; whoever would defend everything he says has only thereby revealed himself as a deceiver.)

I won’t even be in the country when October rolls around! And I have plenty of other travel plans (which I am not canceling) post-October. So, obviously, I am not sitting in my room cowering in fear of October, and I’d encourage everyone to likewise reject any temptation they may feel to do so. Buy a few 50 pound bags of white rice, etc.? Sure. That’s just prudence. But above all, let the brewing of the coming storm only inspire you to engage more zealously in the mission than ever before. The darker things get, the more boldly we must proclaim. Let me conclude by quoting what Jesus said to the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta on that very point:

Courage, My daughter-courage is of souls resolute to do good.  They are imperturbable under any storm; and while they hear the roaring of the thunders and lightnings to the point of trembling, and remain under the pouring rain that pours over them, they use the water to be washed and come out more beautiful; and heedless of the storm, they are more than ever resolute and courageous in not moving from the good they have started.  Discouragement is of irresolute souls, who never arrive at accomplishing a good.  Courage sets the way; courage puts to flight any storm; courage is the bread of the strong; courage is the warlike one that knows how to win any battle.  Therefore, good daughter, courage; do not fear. (April 16, 1931)
