Divine Will Consecration Tomorrow (August 15th – The Feast of the Assumption)

Frances Hogan, whom you may know from her beautiful and edifying teachings on Sacred Scripture that are often featured on EWTN, has been rallying souls in Ireland — and, indeed, around the whole world — to consecrate themselves to the Divine Will tomorrow, on the Feast of the Assumption (August 15th). I encourage all to join in this consecration!! You can listen to Frances’ excellent teachings on the Divine Will at her website, www.FrancesHogan.com

Here is a simple consecration to the Divine Will (if I recall correctly, this one was composed by Luisa at the request of St. Hannibal), formatted beautifully courtesy Barbara Martin. Here is the specific consecration prayer and sheet that people around the world will be using in the powerful initiative being led by Frances Hogan.

I also want to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for promoting the short video ( https://youtu.be/Gtwz0mIukLQ ) I made on Luisa! It is indeed really getting the Divine Will message out there as I had hoped and prayed. I can tell from YouTube analytics that the majority of the exposure is coming from people simply spreading the message through email/social media/forums/etc., but I can also tell that the paid promotion definitely helped. So my deepest gratitude, as well, to all those who so generously donated to help with that! I want to especially thank C.P. (who I am keeping anonymous for now in case she wishes to remain that way) for her incredible generosity. May God reward her and all of you working so hard to proclaim the Kingdom!!! And I know that He will.

But as the purpose of this post was to promote tomorrow’s consecration, I’d like to conclude by sharing with you what Jesus said to Luisa on the Feast of the Assumption in the year 1925:

The true name of this Feast should be Feast of the Divine Will.  It was the human will that closed Heaven, broke the bonds with its Creator, made miseries and sorrow enter the field, and put an end to the feast that the creature was to enjoy in Heaven.  Now, this creature, Queen of all, by doing the Will of the Eternal One always and in everything – even more, it can be said that Her life was Divine Will alone – opened the Heavens, bound Herself to the Eternal One, and restored in Heaven the feasts with the creature.  Every act She did in the Supreme Will was a feast that She started in Heaven, it was suns that She formed to adorn this feast, it was melodies that She sent to delight the Celestial Jerusalem.  So, the true cause of this feast is the Eternal Will operating and fulfilled in my Celestial Mother.  It operated such prodigies in Her as to astonish Heaven and earth, chain the Eternal One with indissoluble bonds of love, and capture the Word even into Her womb.  The very Angels, enraptured, repeated among themselves:  ‘From where comes so much glory, so much honor, such greatness and prodigies never before seen, in this excelling Creature?  Yet, it is from the exile that She is coming.’  Astonished, they recognized the Will of their Creator as Life operating in Her; and, trembling, they said:  ‘Holy, Holy, Holy – honor and glory to the Will of Our Sovereign Lord.  And glory, and trice Holy – She who let this Supreme Will operate.’

So, it is my Will that, more than anything, was and is celebrated on the day of the Assumption into Heaven of my Most Holy Mother.  It was my Will alone that made Her ascend so high as to distinguish Her among all.  Everything else would have been as nothing, had She not possessed the prodigy of my Will.  It was my Will that gave Her divine fecundity and made Her the Mother of the Word.  It was my Will that made Her see and embrace all creatures together, becoming the Mother of all, and loving all with a love of Divine Maternity.  And making Her the Queen of all, It made Her rule and dominate.  On that day, my Will received the first honors, the glory and the abundant fruit of Its work in Creation, and It began Its feast, which It never interrupts, for the glorification of Its operating in my beloved Mother.  And even though Heaven was opened by Me, and many Saints were already in possession of the Celestial Fatherland when the Celestial Queen was assumed into Heaven, however, She Herself was the primary cause, having fulfilled the Supreme Will in everything, and therefore we waited for She who had honored It so much and contained the true prodigy of the Most Holy Will, to make the first feast for the Supreme Volition.  Oh! how the whole of Heaven magnified, blessed and praised the Eternal Will, upon seeing this sublime Queen enter the Empyreum, in the midst of the Celestial Court, all circumfused by the Eternal Sun of the Supreme Volition!  They saw Her all studded with the power of the Supreme Fiat; there had been not even a heartbeat in Her which did not have this Fiat impressed on it.  And, astonished, they looked at Her and said to Her:  ‘Ascend, ascend higher.  It is right that She who so much honored the Supreme Fiat, and through whom we find ourselves in the Celestial Fatherland, have the highest throne and be our Queen.’  And the greatest honor that my Mother received, was to see the Divine Will glorified.”

Have more amazing words about Our Lady ever been spoken? And yet, that is scarcely the tip of the iceberg of the glories of Our Lady you will learn about if you dive into Luisa’s Revelations. I’ll give my usual reminders that you can do so with a free audiobook here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf2hTqJx7dg  a free eBook (as a kindle here https://amazon.com/dp/B07P9M3R63 and as a free PDF here https://dsdoconnor.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/the-crown-of-sanctity.pdf ). All of the revelations themselves are linked to on the right hand sidebar on this blog.

I would, however, be remiss to not share what Jesus told Luisa earlier within that same diary entry on August 15, 1925; though I will paraphrase it here for the sake of brevity. After giving an astounding exposition on how the Divine Will operates in all created things; especially how all of material creation is created for man and is, as it were, honored to serve man, particularly a soul who lives in the Divine Will…. He goes on to say how, when man sins so gravely (as he does today more than ever before in history), he casts himself down so low that the elements themselves, in a certain sense, become “superior” to man and chastise man (obviously, this is not because anything in creation can ever surpass man in its own dignity; it is merely because natural things below man lack reason and free will, thus they cannot possibly sin and thereby detach themselves from God as man can). And it is precisely these Chastisements of which the world now stands on the very brink. Mark Mallett and I discussed that in our most recent webcast:

Universal Restoration

Here at last is the long awaited project!! https://youtu.be/Gtwz0mIukLQ. It is my ardent desire that this video, with your help, will reach many millions of souls, as I’ve finally managed to produce something short enough to have a chance of “going viral.”

Today is the Feast of the Portiuncula; the day on which St. Francis of Assisi received his command from God to rebuild the Church. That command, God speaks to you today… now that the time for the Restoration of the Church through the Reign of the Divine Will is at hand.

As I always say, and I hope you trust me that I mean it (I do) — I have no desire to promote myself; I am certainly the least worthy person in the world to be a bearer of this earth-shattering message of the Divine Will, and if there was any video already out there promoting it that was 1) Under 10 minutes, 2) Geared towards introducing people who know nothing about it, 3) At least somewhat professional and engaging, 4) Up-to-date with the most important recent information (e.g. the publication of The Sun of My Will), 5) Focusing on what is most inspiring and fundamental in the message ….  then, instead of making my own video, I’d just be promoting that one. (I sure didn’t want to have to make this: it was an enormous labor of love for me to learn and undertake the video editing, get the software, compile the countless clips, acquire the stock footage and audio, film other footage, etc.) But since I know of no such video in existence, I figured I had to make it myself.

Please remember: all of the calls of Heaven are utterly urgent, but the ultimate key to them all is precisely these revelations on the Divine Will entrusted to The Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. It is the Divine Will that gives infinite power to the various devotions and practices that Heaven is asking of us (e.g. the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Fasting, Consecration to and Devotion to the Holy Family). It is only these revelations to Luisa on the Divine Will that not only speak of the coming Era, but, moreso, through the very power of the proclamation of the revelations themselves, bring about that Era – first in the hearts of individual believers, and soon over the whole world.

If you want the Chastisements to be mitigated as much as possible and the Era of Peace to come as quickly as possible (and, along with it, the Salvation and Sanctification of souls — which of course is always our ultimate goal), then the single thing you can do to most powerfully and rapidly ensure that these goals are attained is to proclaim the Divine Will. With this video, I hope, there is finally something that has a shot at this very proclamation “going viral.” If this the proclamation of the Divine Will does reach the whole world — and it’s up to you to make that happen — then I assure you, you can just watch God operate in the world more astoundingly than you ever thought possible. Today.

What you can do to help:

  • Please click on the link above (or again here) to open the video within YouTube itself so that you can give it a “thumbs up” (that is, a “like”) and perhaps make a comment as well. This will help YouTube’s algorithms promote it more
  • Post it to social media!! I have no Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc., so I’m relying on you guys to get this “trending” on these platforms!
  • Email it out to people
  • Please don’t feel pressured to do this, but if you like, you can donate. The Divine Will shall primarily spread not by money, but by souls filled with love and zeal proclaiming it. That being said, paid promotion doesn’t hurt, and thanks to some donations I received recently (a special thanks to Janette, Joanne, and Teresa!) I was able to afford some stock footage and I’m finally able to afford to do a little paid promotion. If you’d like to contribute to that promotion, I’ll assume that any donations made via the link above for the next few days are earmarked for the promotion of this video (unless otherwise noted). Note: the donation will say it’s going to “St Joseph Mechanical Solutions LLC” or perhaps to my wife, Regina’s, email address. But that’s actually just my paypal account and I’ll indeed use the donation to promote this video. Again, here’s the link to donate if you’d like to do that

Perhaps a few people who are already well acquainted with Luisa and who watch this video may be tempted to take issue with what it leaves out. Indeed, in this video I do not focus on the Chastisements, or on the more difficult aspects of Living in the Divine Will. Please understand that we must proclaim the Divine Will with what is especially inspiring about it. I have not been at all quiet about all the other aspects of the message: just see my free eBook, The Crown of Sanctity, if you need to be reassured of that. But consider, for example, the matter of proclaiming even the Faith itself: no wise evangelist proclaims the Gospel by first delineating a detailed and rigorous explanation of all the virtues one must have to fully live the Gospel, nor does he lead by quoting the many strong condemnations of various vices one finds throughout the New Testament, or the apocalyptic discourses of Our Lord in the Gospel of Luke that prophesy the great trials. Rather, any wise evangelist begins his proclamation with the kerygma — that is, announcing the saving power of Jesus Christ in His Incarnation and Redemption. So too, in proclaiming the Divine Will, we must lead with the most exciting and inspiring fundamentals of the message: the fact that the greatest sanctity possible — which brings along with it perfect and uninterrupted love, joy, and peace — is now available for the asking, and that the universal reign of this very sanctity, which is none other than the fulfillment of the Our Father prayer itself, is about to dawn upon the whole world… as soon as enough people want it and ask for it.

This is the most astounding message one can comprehend; it is the greatest possible news imaginable, and it just so happens to be completely and irrefutably true. In proclaiming it, Jesus wants us to take advantage of how groundbreaking and earth shattering this message is. TAKE HIM UP ON THAT OFFER!

Let’s make sure that every person on the planet has seen this video.

PS: Although creating it cost me dearly (in money, time, and effort), I don’t make a penny off of this video being watched. I’ve completely disabled YouTube’s “Monetization” feature for my channel, so no ads should ever appear with it. If they do, they were put there by YouTube without my approval (they sometimes find ways to sneak ads in there unfortunately).

PSS: Yes, although there is much stock footage, my own 4 kids also had their acting debut in this video ;-)

Clarifications (Dr. Miravalle, Fr. Michel, Fall 2020, My Credentials)

On Dr. Miravalle

I want to, first of all, thank everyone for the outpouring of support after my last post. I wrote it with much trepidation, for I did not relish the thought of having to write an article against an author I greatly respect (indeed, I would like to reiterate my respect for Dr. Miravalle). But at the end of the day I must follow my conscience and never succumb to the vice of respect of persons, and Dr. Miravalle’s article contained serious problems that simply, in justice, had to be publicly and quickly addressed, and Providence seemed to have placed me in the position to do that.

Note: My own Fifth Point (in response to Dr. Miravalle’s Fifth Point), was not clear: please see the addendum now posted at the bottom of my post if you are interested in a clarification.

On Fr. Michel

Unfortunately, some headlines that linked to my last post did so by referring to me as a “promoter” of Fr. Michel or a “strong defender” of him, or something of the sort. This isn’t really true. Yes, I’ve mentioned his prophecies as being worthy of consideration in a couple posts here. Yes, I wholeheartedly contribute to and endorse CTTK, which hosts several of his talks. Yes, I defended him against the 10 unjust accusations levied against him by Dr. Mark Miravalle (I will gladly defend anyone against unjust accusations — whether or not that person happens to be an authentic prophet).

But I haven’t even had time to watch most of Fr. Michel’s videos. I haven’t had the time to deeply study his messages. Dr. Miravalle’s 10 Points were so deeply flawed that they were rather straightforward to answer, but I do not have the answers to the multitude of other questions I get regarding Fr. Michel. I would recommend that, if you have an urgent question or concern regarding Fr. Michel, you contact Christine Watkins, who is the CTTK contributor who knows the most about him and who has posted the material on CTTK that pertains to him. As for me, Fr. Michel is just one of countless living prophets; one whom (like so many others) I have only had time to briefly look into and who appears authentic based on what I’ve seen so far. As I mentioned in my last post, I am not claiming certainty in his authenticity, and I am not even claiming conviction in his prophecies. He seems authentic to me and I believe he should be listened to and taken seriously. That is all I really have to say about that matter. I really cannot devote much more time to the matter than to say that; my mission is the revelations on the Divine Will given to the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, and that is what I must focus on.

However, I’d like to quickly clarify one Fr. Michel issue right now:

Fr. Michel does not say the Warning will be this Fall.

Fr. Michel hasn’t said the Warning won’t be Fall 2020, either. He simply hasn’t said when it will be (to my knowledge, at least). He’s only saying that the Purification (i.e. the Chastisements) will pick up by this Fall. I’m guessing that the Chastisements will need to be in full swing for a while before the Warning itself comes, as God’s Permissive Will in this case is to bring humanity to its knees in order to be best disposed for the grace of the Warning. In pain, we are much more receptive to grace than in comfort.

Indeed, Fr. Michel said that “the month of the Rosary [October] will see great things,” but it shouldn’t be assumed that this is a reference to the Warning.

Remember what I constantly say: when it comes to your zeal for Salvation and Sanctification, have the sense of urgency that comes from assuming these timetables are correct. When it comes to continuing to undertake well the duties of your state in life, assume that the Time of Mercy will be extended yet again and that Fr. Michel’s prophetic timetable will not transpire. That advice never fails; and, indeed, the only point of prophecy is to help us to better respond to what Heaven is asking of us (proclaim the Divine Mercy, Live in the Divine Will, pray the Rosary, frequent the Sacraments, consecrate yourself/family/home to the Holy Family, etc.). Prophecy doesn’t exist to just arbitrarily give us knowledge of the future and it certainly doesn’t exist to fuel aimless speculation.

On my Credentials

[The following will be very boring and ought only be read by those who, for some reason, care about this issue!]

I have become aware that a few busybodies have been spreading slander about me online, accusing me of making up being a professor of philosophy and a PhD student. Indeed, this is nothing but calumny, and I suppose I should be glad to see their antics descend so low, since resorting to such low-blows shows they have no good arguments for their erroneous conclusions against the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta and the Prophetic Consensus in general, thus their employment of baseless ad-hominem attacks.

I am a professor of philosophy and religion, and a PhD student. Luckily for these busybodies, I have no desire for money, and I have no time! (Because if I wanted money and had time I could sue them for defamation.)

I have never been at all quiet or secretive about the details of my credentials: I am very proud to be very close to the bottom of the Totem pole of higher education (I like it there!):

I am adjunct faculty  at a community college (HVCC) that itself is part of the State University of New York (SUNY).

(Where I teach, even many full time professors who already have their PhDs are also — along with adjuncts — referred to as “Instructors,” which, in this context, does not mean that the instructor is not also a “professor.” Here, “instructor” is simply a broader category akin to “teacher,” a category that includes “professor” within it. Yes, I am in some HVCC documentation referred to as “Instructor.” This does not mean that I am not a professor!)

Unfortunately, there have apparently been some blurbs about me on some materials — blurbs not written by me — that may not have always been the clearest about my credentials (For example, unfortunately, due to an evident miscommunication, the blurb about me on The Warning book — a blurb I am only really taking note of now — simply says “Professor of Philosophy, State University, New York.” This indeed is confusing and inaccurate — for one, there is no “State University, New York,” and I am a professor of philosophy at a State University of New York college, not at “the” “State University, New York.” I have never described myself to anyone, either in public or in private, as “Professor of Philosophy, State University, New York” so please feel free to correct anyone who refers to me as this and, if you like, direct them to this post.) But I have never contradicted these facts or knowingly cooperated with anyone else contradicting them; and I have always been completely open about the facts themselves: I have long promoted http://www.DOCphilosophy.com, where I make the details of my credentials clear. I have mentioned in past posts on this very blog that I am an adjunct. My public LinkedIn profile, which I’ve had for my entire time as a professor, makes it very clear that I am an adjunct (and where I am an adjunct) and that I am only a doctoral student (and where I am a doctoral student).

I have never said or implied that I am an assistant, associate, or full professor. I have never said or implied I am tenure or tenure track. I have never said or implied that I have a PhD. I have never said or implied that I am “Dr. O’Connor.” It is worth noting that, despite the fact that I am an adjunct on paper (that is, “part timer”), I nevertheless teach more courses than most “full-time” tenure professors. The courses I teach are in the subject areas of philosophy and religion. I have taught hundreds upon hundreds of students now in these matters and am in my fourth continuous year of doing so:

Yes, I am a professor of philosophy and religion. That is a fact. A community college is a college. An adjunct professor is a professor.

If, in your view, dear busybodies mentioned above, you believe that the word “professor” may only be used for a tenured professor at a 4-year-plus College or University; then you are entitled to that opinion, but I disagree with it and I will not be bound in my speech by your opinion.

[Long, boring remarks on the “PhD Candidate” question!]:  I occasionally allow myself to be referred to as “PhD Candidate.” I am aware that some people use the phrase “PhD Candidate” to refer to a PhD student who is in the ABD (“All But Dissertation”) phase of studies (which I am not yet in, as I still have coursework remaining). But I am not aware of any strict rules only allowing the phrase “PhD Candidate” to be referred to someone in such a position. If any such strict rules exist, please alert me to them and direct me to an authoritative academic source regulating the phrase as such, and moving forward I’ll do my best to try to make sure that websites are not referring to me as “PhD Candidate.” Personally, I generally simply refer to myself as a “PhD Student” if asked. I tolerate the “Candidate” phrase being used, however, as I’m not exactly “just” a PhD student. I already have my Master’s degree (in Philosophical Theology), which I received over 7 years ago, and I am now entering my third year of PhD studies (a program I was explicitly accepted into, with a scholarship, as being solely directed toward a PhD). Notwithstanding the fact that I still have coursework left, I am, in fact — looking at the definitions of the words in question — a candidate for a PhD. A PhD is the expected result of the program that I, 1) Was accepted into, 2) Have been continually active in since, and 3) Now have years behind me in. Therefore I do not see any inaccuracy in referring to me as a “PhD Candidate.”

In general, however — as anyone who has read this blog knows (feel free to peruse its pages now if you have not) — I don’t like titles and credentials at all. I don’t want people to believe what I say “because a professor says so,” or “because someone with a Master’s in Theology says so,” rather, I want people to believe what I say because of the force of the arguments themselves. I prefer to simply go by “Daniel” (or, if you prefer, “Dan” or “Danny”); although I do not make a fuss if those I collaborate with prefer to refer to me as “Professor” or to add my credentials after my name. I only ask to go by anything other than my simple first name with my students, in class, during which time I go by “Mr. O’Connor.” So, please know that you can simply call me “Daniel,” and, in fact, I’d prefer that!
